1.What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website.
They help us make the website function better and understand how visitors use our site.

These cookies are necessary for the operation of the website and cannot be disabled.
They include session management, security and basic functionalities.
They also include propositio_consent, which remembers your choice about marketing cookies (12 months), and propositio_meta_pending, which is only set after you accepted marketing cookies and is deleted within 48 hours.
Without these cookies, the website cannot function properly.

We use analytical cookies to understand how visitors use our website.
This information helps us improve the website and optimize the user experience.
All data is collected anonymously and cannot be traced back to individual users.

Marketing cookies are only placed after your explicit consent: you click Accept in the cookie banner. Until then, no marketing script is loaded at all.
We use the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to measure which of our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring people to Propositio, and to show our ads to people who are likely to be interested. The pixel places the cookies _fbp and _fbc (90 days each).
With your consent, we also send a few events about your own account to Meta from our server (Meta Conversions API): completing your sign-up, connecting Moneybird, and your organization sharing its first proposal. With each event we send your email address and user ID in hashed form, your IP address, your browser type and the Meta cookies above. We never send the content of proposals or anything about your clients.
The pixel never runs on the proposal pages your clients open, nor on the print and signature verification pages.
You can withdraw your consent at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. The pixel and the server events then stop, and we delete the Meta cookies from your device.

We use third-party services that may place their own cookies.
This includes Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting) and OpenAI (AI functionality), and Meta (advertising), the latter only after your consent.
These parties have their own privacy policies and cookie policies.

Functional cookies: are automatically deleted when you close the browser.
Analytical cookies: are kept for a maximum of 2 years.
Marketing cookies: are kept for a maximum of 1 year or until you delete them (the Meta cookies _fbp and _fbc: 90 days).
Your choice about marketing cookies: 12 months, after which we ask again.
